What is a Raptor? A Raptor is a bird that hunts other animals through the use of long claws and a sharp, hooked beak. Raptors include owls, hawks, eagles, falcons, and other predatory birds. What is the Raptor Center? The Raptor Center provides a home for permanently disabled Raptors that are unable to be released back into the wild. The Raptor Center is not a wildlife rehabilitation center. Although these birds will never be released, they receive excellent care. In exchange, they serve as ambassadors of their kind, and of all that is wild and free.
