	What's a SPLASH ZONE? The newest, awesomest, most fantabulous fun around! How does this sound--take an indoor 8 lane pool, combine it with a tot lagoon, outdoor zero-depth entry pool, water toys, two humongous water slides, playground, fitness room and aerobics room and guess what you get? You get SPLASH ZONE - right here in Lorain County!


	Rain, Shine, Summer or Winter, Splash Zone is the place to be! Whether you're a serious swimmer or just want to get wet on those hot summer days, the outdoor pool has 6,000 sq feet of water to dip your body in. The adventurous can choose between two 24 foot high waterslides. The main pool also features tumble buckets, 4 lap lanes, water jets, a smaller slide feature with water cannons, and a separate tot pool with a mushroom waterfall. With an outdoor concession stand open all summer, you won't even have to dry off to get a snack. When you don't feel like getting wet there's even a playground for the youngsters and dry-at-heart.
			During the off-season when it's not warm enough to swim outdoors, the indoor pool will be opened in the Natatorium. This soon-to-be centerpiece for competition swimming and diving in Lorain County is an 8-lane, 25-yard high school regulation pool built for swim meets, practices and special programs for seniors, preschoolers and families. The pool is handicap accessible with plenty of space for special programs like swimming lessons, water aerobics and adaptive aquatics as well as general splashing around. The tots can play in the tot pool nearby with in-water play-features and a frog slide. And there's plenty of deck space all around the Natatorium for general use and just plain lounging around.
	When you're just not in a submersible mood, Splash Zone has plenty of other offerings, including a large lobby and gathering area, indoor concession stand, aerobics room and fitness room with free weights and nautilus equipment. There's even a room available for birthday parties and meetings that looks into the Natatorium, complete with projector screen, marker board, movable tables and chairs, cabinetry, a refrigerator and sink. 		Swim lessons are available at Splash Zone. We have classes available for all ages and levels of children. Check out the American Red Cross Levels below. All lessons are taught by American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors. They will work hard to provide a positive learning and environment and teach your child lifelong swimming skills. 		The fitness room features free weights, nautilus equipment, treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent bikes and a new tread climber. Participants must have a Splash Pass.

For just $50 per person for 3 months, adult members will enjoy the use of our large, heated indoor pool as well as our fitness room complete with Nautilus machines, treadmills, elliptical trainers, and upright and recumbent bicycles. Member discounts are offered on a variety of programs including water aerobics, Flick-N-Float and learn to swim classes! Children who are members have unlimited access to our pool during the daily “open swim” times and can also take advantage of the member discount when enrolled in Learn to Swim classes. We cannot give refunds due to weather, health, medical, or safety requirements. We will attempt to keep the facility open during normal hours. If inclement weather or other situations occur, we are required to follow our policy for your safety. We will reopen the pools as soon as possible.

Everyone who visits or works at Splash Zone is to be treated with courtesy and respect. Our motto for a great facility is "Safety and Respect". Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Below are some of the guidelines that will make Splash Zone fun all summer. 1. Everyone must pay to enter under the admission guidelines. 2. There is a $5.00 charge for each replacement pass. 3. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older). 4. There must be 1 adult for every 4 children. 5. Bathing suits are required and, for your safety, no t-shirts or cover-ups at any time permitted in Splash Zone pools. 6. A 15 minute rest period will be observed every hour. Adults (ages 18 and older) may swim at this time. 7. Food and beverage is permitted in concession areas only: no carry-in coolers. 8. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. 9. Flotation devices are prohibited. 10. Diving is permitted in designated areas only. 11. Profanity or abusive language is prohibited. 12. Failure to be respectful and/or comply with these guidelines may result in removal from the pool. Slides at Splash Zone The minimum height requirement to use the slides at Splash Zone is 48" tall. Patrons must first pass a swim test to use the indoor slides, as splash-down is in 12' of water.
