Your senior group is invited to join Lorain County Metro Parks for a guided park tour with a lunch stop. Different tour options are offered throughout the summer season.
Eligibility & Group Requirements
Open to organized groups only
Lorain County residents ages 55 and older
Group size: Minimum 10, maximum 22 participants
Limit: Groups are limited to 3 trips per group, per year
Transportation Details
Wheelchair-accessible bus (accommodates up to two wheelchair riders)
Pick-up and drop-off at the group’s designated meeting location
Departure is at 10:00 am, with return at approximately 2:00 pm
Lunch Options
Groups may bring their own lunch to enjoy at a park picnic pavilion
Boxed lunches are available for $12 per person. Orders must be placed and paid for two weeks prior to the tour date. Weather Policy
Bus tours operate rain or shine
Trams do not run during inclement weather
Tour transportation is free, but donations are accepted. Donations go towards bus tour costs and other costs associated with outreach programming. Bus drivers and tour guides are not permitted to accept gratuities or gifts.
