FRENCH CREEK THEATRE PRESENTS: BRIGHT STAR
Inspired by a true story, Bright Star is a sweeping, heartfelt musical featuring a Tony-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. Set against the rich and colorful backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and 1940s, this moving tale explores love, loss, and the redemptive power of hope. When literary editor Alice Murphy encounters a young soldier returning from World War II, a long-buried longing is stirred within her for the child she once lost. Drawn into a journey to confront her past, Alice discovers truths that have the power to reshape both of their lives.
