Five vendors will be selected for each weekend of the event. Vendors will be limited to one truck at this event. Vendors must be open for sales from 4:00 pm through 10 pm on both Friday and Saturday (the first weekend will require the food vendor to also be open on Thursday, Oct. 12 5:30-9 pm for All-Abilities Day*).

  • October 12*, 13, and 14

  • October 20 and 21

  • October 27 and 28

By opening each weekend as an individual opportunity, we have the opportunity to select 15 individual vendors. Priority for vendor selection will be given to Lorain County businesses.

Trailers/trucks/booths will need to be dropped off/setup on the Wednesday before the vendor’s scheduled participation. Setup time will be scheduled with LCMP maintenance staff. Trucks cannot be removed until Sundays after 8 am. LCMP will provide water and electric hookup (with limitations) as well as garbage cans and picnic tables in front of the food vendor area.

Duplicate cuisines or food types will not be selected for a single weekend. LCMP has the right to limit available menu items for food vendors to ensure duplicate or like items are not sold. Due to an agreement with our volunteer organization Friends of the Metro Parks, the following items will not be permitted to be sold by outside vendors: hot cocoa, cider, popcorn, and donuts.

In lieu of a standard vendor fee, vendors will be required to submit 15% of gross sales to the Lorain County Metro Parks within 30 days of their scheduled weekend.

Applications must be submitted by August 12. Selected vendors will be notified by August 18.

Submitting an application does not guarantee your participation in the event. LCMP solely holds the right to approve and select food vendors for this event. If accepted food vendors are required to present a valid Lorain County Health Department Permit and proof of insurance.
